The sky was just light,

Then it darkened and let out a wail,

Pouring rain hit the ground,

I hear it in the gutters,

And think,

It’s only September!

Where’s the sun,

It’s typical in this area,

Wet Raincouver is what they say,

Rain, rain, rain…

Vancouverites must be so enduring of these downfalls,

Fresh smelling rain,

Umbrellas in water bottle holders,

Water-proof shoes,

All the rage,

Beautiful rain in lit up skies.

Life is harsh. Love is harsh. God makes it better. I've always loved to read, and daydream too. I love literary pairings in sounds and text, styles and images. My favourite book is 1984 by George Orwell.
